Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Metro Dentalcare in St. Louis Park, MN on Excelsior Blvd. As a Dental Assistant, you will be a vital part of our patient care team, providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and support alongside our dental professionals.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
- Solid understanding of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
Preferred Experience
- New graduate or years of clinical experience.
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire for continuous learning and enhancement of clinical skills.
Physical Requirements
- Capability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically.
