Job Description: Director Toxicology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Toxicology to manage global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology for assigned portfolio products. The Director will work collaboratively across teams to support overall global nonclinical regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage direct reports and external CROs for toxicology studies.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and documents to ensure compliance.
• Provide strategic input on drug development programs and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with internal functions and external collaborators to support nonclinical safety assessment activities.
• Maintain current knowledge in relevant scientific literature and methodology.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry toxicology.
• Expertise in FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance; GLP regulations.
• Experience in authoring regulatory submissions and responding to inquiries.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
