Echocardiographer - Cardiac Sonographer
We are currently seeking an Echocardiographer - Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As an Echocardiographer, you will perform highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology. This role involves utilizing non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to support Cardiology Services in alignment with hospital policies and procedures.
Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Director of Cardiology, the Echocardiographer carries out a variety of cardiac ultrasonographic procedures, adhering to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and goals. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the healthcare field and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related health care field.
- RDCS registry preferred.
- BLS Training required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac ultrasound.
