Job Description
We are excited to offer a paid Engineering Internship (Structural) at Nestlé Purina for summer 2024. As a Structural Engineering student, you will be an integral part of our capital projects execution team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on complex projects in pet food manufacturing, develop technical skills, and make a genuine impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, design, and specifications.
- Participate in project reporting, risk analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Support the standardized application of project management workflows.
- Engage in equipment installation monitoring and construction activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Location
- On-site at Nestlé Purina headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
- Temporary relocation and housing provided as needed.
- Potential travel to manufacturing facilities across the country.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Structural Engineering program.
- Available to work approximately 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024.
