Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with managing the day-to-day store activities, ensuring smooth store operations, managing schedules, and developing action plans to enhance team performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
 - Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
 - Identify training opportunities for team development.
 - Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations for maintaining competitiveness.
 - Supervise store operations and escalate issues as needed.
 - Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper signage.
 - Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure product quality.
 - Operate cash register, equipment, and perform general cleaning duties.
 
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
 - Ability to work independently and in a team.
 - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
 - Strong understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
 - Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.
 
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
 - 3 years of retail experience.
 - Prior management experience is a plus.
