Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with managing the day-to-day store activities, ensuring smooth store operations, managing schedules, and developing action plans to enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations for maintaining competitiveness.
  • Supervise store operations and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper signage.
  • Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure product quality.
  • Operate cash register, equipment, and perform general cleaning duties.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
