Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team will enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and any operational concerns to the management team
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper use of equipment
- General cleaning duties adherence
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
