Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Capable of maintaining store cleanliness to company standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
