Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Perform store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to meet physical demands and safety standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask efficiently

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and relevant experience
