Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Ensure inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and carrying items
• Operate store equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
