Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-organized, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. This position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
• Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Understanding and application of company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
