Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team will ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Perform general cleaning activities to company standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience desired
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable
