Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company policies.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
