Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This role offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. competencies and professional skills consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and participate in inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies, maintain store security, and follow company procedures diligently.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
