Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues encountered
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safe use of equipment and ability to perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet local requirements for alcohol sales

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
