Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with the ALDI team and exceptional customer service will be key aspects of your daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
- Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience and communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues encountered.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
