Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties and maintain the store's cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper operation of equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
