Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and potential issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies with respect to document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
