Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, assist customers with their shopping experience, and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies, maintain security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper use of equipment
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and in a team
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
