Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a well-organized and customer-friendly store environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document and data security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Safe operation of equipment including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- General cleaning duties and adherence to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in retail preferred.
- Equivalent knowledge through education and experience.
