Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask professionally
• Meet local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
