Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safely operate equipment according to guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
