Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capacity to perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask.
- Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcohol.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior retail experience (preferred).
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job's demands.
