Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking products, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is beneficial.
• Combination of education and experience is considered.
