Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and upholding company standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain store cleanliness.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is considered.
