Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall cleanliness and appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Follow all company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail is a plus
