Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will play a crucial part in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
• Maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
