Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with the ALDI team, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the company's standards.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize errors
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior retail experience is preferred
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment
- Meet state requirements for handling alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a retail environment is a plus
