Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will collaborate with team members and management to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
