Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintenance tasks. Your contributions will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers and ensure the store operates smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with management
- Report feedback on product issues, inventory discrepancies, and operational matters
- Participate in store inventory procedures and uphold cash handling policies
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and follow procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years old
- Proficient in providing prompt and friendly customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately
- Skilled in using store equipment and following safety guidelines
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the job including lifting up to 45 pounds
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or in a team
