Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and other store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties following company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
