Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains a high standard of appearance and customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking shelves, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional assistance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback to improve product quality and address inventory issues.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company policies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
