Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and overall cleanliness standards are met. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with management, and provide feedback on products and inventory.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies, uphold document security, and perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper handling of equipment including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capacity to work independently, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Ability to maintain organization, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Education and Experience
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent knowledge from a combination of education and experience is accepted.
