Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays. Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management. Give feedback on products, inventory, and store operations. Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies. Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality. Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow cleaning standards and company guidelines effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is considered.
