Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory issues, and any concerns to management.
- Assist in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy as per guidelines.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Capable of safely operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
