Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper equipment operation
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
