Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and various equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local requirements when handling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
