Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team members will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Provide top-notch customer service, aiding customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on product quality, inventory issues, and other concerns.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company regulations.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at Aldi.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
