Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain a clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory levels, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
