Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will play a key role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience preferred.
