Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and related issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe equipment operation and general cleaning abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
