Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by handling merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, you will collaborate with the team to uphold ALDI's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Offer outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory management and cash handling.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining data security.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in various physical activities such as bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash handling.
• Able to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
