Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) and play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers. As a Store Associate, you will merchandise products, operate the cash register, maintain cleanliness, and provide top-notch customer service in collaboration with your team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and stock products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Regular movement including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
• Ability to operate store equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Customer service skills and cash register proficiency
• Capability to operate store equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales, if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combined education and experience for suitability
