Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining store operations by merchandising products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory monitoring.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses and follow company guidelines.
• Comply with established company policies and uphold the security and confidentiality of data and documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
• Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Execute general cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
