Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for an array of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Comply with established policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe use of equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
- Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
