Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) where you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and stock merchandise neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and other store issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle tasks efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
