Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. From cashiering to merchandising, your responsibilities will contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise effectively.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members and contribute feedback to management.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Follow company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and fulfill assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of physical demands, such as stocking shelves and lifting items up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
