Job Description
As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to uphold high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management, providing feedback on products and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash handling procedures, and follow company policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
