Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by handling merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. With a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, you will have the opportunity to work 32-40 hours per week and contribute to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper equipment operation
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay organized, pay attention to detail, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
