Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the store looks its best.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
