Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and report product, inventory, and scanning issues to management
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 or older
• Effective customer service skills and cash register operation
• Operate equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
